Since childhood, I've been more compelled to make art than doing anything else. Exhausting box after box of crayons, graduating to markers, Elmer's glue, watercolors then paints was how I decorated my world. While I began my college education in Fine Arts, I eventually switched to the field of Psychology and became a therapist.
In 2015, I moved from my home state of Maryland to Salem, Oregon, where I’ve worked to hone my ability in both drawing and acrylic painting. I've been fortunate to receive commissions for several murals, portraits of people & pets, landscapes and fan art. My work has been displayed at local businesses, conventions, galleries, festivals and fairs throughout the Northwest.
Inspiration can arise from the very small to the very large, and all litany of emotions, events and energies in between. Wherever its source, I seek to understand and interpret its profound, innate beauty.
